Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command coordinated to organize medical examination, treatment and gift giving for people in border areas.

On August 23, in Khanh Hung and Tuyen Binh communes (Tay Ninh province), the Provincial Military Command (CHQS) coordinated with Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Tay Ninh province to organize a volunteer program to examine, provide free medicine and give gifts to people with revolutionary contributions, the elderly, poor and near-poor households and people in border areas.

Medical examination for people

Attending the program were Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Khanh - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Most Venerable Thich Quang Tam - Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tay Ninh Province; Doctor, Physician Ho Tan Phat - Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Cho Ray Hospital, and representatives of local departments, agencies and branches.

Give gifts to people

Within the framework of the activity, more than 900 people were directly examined, provided health consultation, diagnosed with diseases and given free medicine by a team of doctors and nurses.

The Organizing Committee also presented many practical gifts, with a total cost of more than 1 billion VND, contributing to sharing difficulties and encouraging people in border areas to work, produce and stabilize their lives.

Speaking at the program, Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Khanh - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command affirmed that the activities of medical examination, medicine provision and gift giving contribute to community health care, helping to detect and treat diseases promptly.
