Awarding 200 scholarships 'Petrolimex Tay Ninh accompanies you to school'

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh spoke at the scholarship awarding program.

Attending the event were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh; Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Truong Thi Phuong Thao; leaders of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education, along with Party committees, authorities and schools in the two communes of Phuoc Vinh and Ben Cau.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh expressed his deep gratitude to Tay Ninh Petroleum Company for always accompanying the locality in social security activities, especially in the field of education. The scholarship program " Petrolimex Tay Ninh with you to school" is a very meaningful gift, timely to encourage and motivate the learning spirit of the children, adding more determination for them to firmly step on the path of learning.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh also requested Phuoc Vinh and Ben Cau communes to continue to pay attention, prepare necessary conditions, and create a favorable environment for students to enter the new school year 2025-2026. At the same time, he called on teachers and parents to continue to closely coordinate and care for students, especially those with many difficulties, so that no child is left behind.

This year, the program awarded 200 scholarships worth 300 million VND and 200 pairs of students worth 50 million VND; the total cost was 350 million VND, drawn from the social security fund of Tay Ninh Petroleum Company.

This is an annual activity, demonstrating the social responsibility of the enterprise and the companionship with the government and the education sector in helping poor but studious students achieve their dreams of going to school./.
