The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just sent a document to the Department of Industry and Trade requesting to continue to step up the fight to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee directed the implementation of the Prime Minister 's telegram on continuing to promote the peak of the fight to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights.
At the same time, urgently review and make a specific list of locations that need to focus on promoting the peak period of fighting against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, fake milk, fake drugs, fake functional foods, foods that do not guarantee quality, and goods that infringe intellectual property rights for inspection and handling according to regulations.
According to the telegram dated June 4, the Prime Minister requested stronger and more drastic measures during the peak month of the fight to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights.
Ministers of ministries, departments, branches, and chairmen of provincial and municipal People's Committees shall strengthen direction and urge forces to closely coordinate and continue to promote the peak period of the fight to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, fake milk, fake drugs, fake functional foods, foods that do not ensure quality, and goods that infringe intellectual property rights.
From the initial attack results of the peak period, it is necessary to continue to make the peak period more vibrant, determined, fierce, and make more efforts to achieve real results.
Timely detect and strictly handle violators, officials, civil servants and officers who show signs of moral degradation, corruption, negativity, protection and assistance to law violators with the motto "handling one case, warning the whole region and field", "no forbidden areas, no exceptions".
The Prime Minister also requested that provincial and municipal Party Secretaries directly lead and closely direct Party committees at all levels, authorities and the entire political system to proactively and actively participate in the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and infringement of intellectual property rights.
