Arsenal officially welcome Madueke
Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Noni Madueke from Chelsea for £52 million ($67.6 million). The 23-year-old winger has passed a medical and signed a five-year contract with the Emirates Stadium club.
Coach Mikel Arteta shared: "Madueke is one of the best wingers in the Premier League. He is only 23 years old but has a lot of experience at both club and national team level."
Madueke becomes Arsenal's fourth signing of the summer, following Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard. The Gunners are expected to add striker Viktor Gyokeres before the end of the transfer window.
Leeds sign Sean Longstaff
Leeds United have announced the signing of Sean Longstaff from Newcastle for a fee of £12 million ($15.6 million). The 27-year-old midfielder has signed a four-year contract with the Premier League newcomers.
Longstaff came through the Newcastle academy and was promoted to the first team in the 2018/19 season. Although he has been a regular on the pitch, he has largely been a substitute and is no longer in manager Eddie Howe's plans. He is Leeds' seventh signing of the summer transfer window.
Luis Diaz was offered a "huge" salary by Bayern
According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich has reached a personal agreement with Luis Diaz, who promises to receive four times his current salary at Liverpool (from about 65,000 pounds/week to more than 12 million pounds/year, 15.6 million USD).
However, the deal is still stuck on the transfer fee. The latest offer worth 60 million pounds ($78 million) from Bayern was rejected by Liverpool. The "Gray Tigers" are still determined to spend big when the attack is facing a personnel crisis due to the departure of Thomas Muller and Jamal Musiala's long-term injury.
Man United help Brentford break transfer record
After several rounds of negotiations, Man United have agreed to spend £71 million ($92.3 million) to recruit striker Bryan Mbeumo. This is the most expensive deal in Brentford's history, surpassing the old record of Ivan Toney (sold to Al Ahly for £33.6 million ($43.7 million).
Mbeumo joined Brentford from Troyes in 2019 for just £5.8 million ($7.5 million). In the 2024/25 season, he contributed 20 goals and 7 assists, helping the team finish 10th in the Premier League.
Al Hilal pursues Alexander Isak
According to Sky Sports, Al Hilal Club (Saudi Arabia) is seriously pursuing striker Alexander Isak. This team is willing to spend more than 120 million pounds (156 million USD) and promises extremely attractive treatment for the Swedish star.
Isak is currently contracted to Newcastle until June 2028 and is earning £150,000 a week ($195,000). Last season, he scored 27 goals in all competitions, helping the Magpies win the League Cup and qualify for the Champions League.
Al Hilal – owned by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) – have strong links with Newcastle, making a deal more likely if Isak agrees. Liverpool had previously targeted Isak but have since suspended their pursuit to turn their attention to Hugo Ekitike.
Brighton refuse to sell Estupinan to AC Milan
Brighton have rejected AC Milan's £15 million ($19.5 million) offer for left-back Pervis Estupinan, saying the fee was too low and there was no reason to negotiate.
AC Milan see Estupinan as a replacement for Theo Hernandez, who has moved to Saudi Arabia to play for Al Hilal. However, Brighton have said they will only listen to offers if the figure matches his actual value.
