The 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Teqball Championship has just ended at the District 6 Cultural and Sports Center, attracting more than 100 athletes to compete. This is a good sign for a new sport introduced to Vietnam and is on the rise in many countries.

Vietnam competes in teqball at SEA Games 33
Notably, the host country of the 33rd SEA Games (December) Thailand included teqball in the competition program. Vietnamese sports also registered to compete in teqball at the 33rd SEA Games and the core members are Ho Chi Minh City players selected through the recent championship. Previously, Ho Chi Minh City hosted the 2024 World Teqball Championship from December 4 to 8, attracting 221 athletes from 95 countries and territories to participate.
