Toyota Yaris Cross launched in Vietnam, price from 730 million VND

In terms of exterior, the design of the Yaris Cross is similar to the Corolla Cross. The front lights are angular from the headlights to the fog lights. The B-size crossover uses an LED lighting system. Like the headlights, the rear lights have an angular design, extending to both sides. The wheel arches are covered with aggressive plastic. The car is fitted with the largest 18-inch rims in the segment with two contrasting paint colors. Toyota offers 2 monochrome colors and 3 colors with two tones for the exterior.

The Yaris Cross is 4,310 mm long, 1,770 mm wide, 1,655 mm high, slightly smaller than its rival Hyundai Creta, but the Yaris Cross's wheelbase is 2,620 mm, 10 mm longer than the Korean model.

Inside the cabin, the central control area is designed to focus on the driver with convenient equipment such as an 8-way power driver's seat, paddle shifters on the steering wheel (gasoline version), a large 10-inch entertainment screen with smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, electronic parking brake and automatic brake hold, interior decorative lights with customizable colors and light intensity...

The first is a 1.5L, 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum capacity of 105 horsepower and a maximum torque of 138 Nm, combined with a D-CVT continuously variable transmission. The second is a hybrid engine, including a 90 horsepower gasoline engine, an electric motor with a maximum capacity of 79 horsepower and a lithium-ion battery. Thanks to that, the car only consumes 3.56 liters of gasoline per 100 km in the city.

The starting price of the 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross in Vietnam for the two versions is 730 million and 838 million VND respectively. Compared to competitors in the same segment such as Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta and Honda HR-V, the Toyota Yaris Cross has a higher starting price.
