Total outstanding policy credit reached over 5,670 billion VND

By the end of May 2025, the total outstanding policy credit balance of the whole province reached VND 5,673.4 billion, with more than 146,400 households still having outstanding loans. The cumulative loan turnover in 5 months reached over VND 963 billion, with more than 16,000 households borrowing capital.

People in Dong Tam hamlet, Dong Lai commune (Tan Lac) borrow policy capital to grow grapefruit, increasing income.

Some programs with high loan turnover include: job creation (over 313 billion VND); clean water and rural environmental sanitation (over 171 billion VND); loans for poor households (over 116 billion VND); near-poor households (over 108 billion VND); households that have just escaped poverty (over 64 billion VND); production and business households in difficult areas (over 162 billion VND).

From the loan capital, the whole province has created jobs for 5,143 workers; supported the construction of 36 houses; built 4,065 clean water works, 3,995 rural environmental sanitation works; helped thousands of students get loans for studying; many ethnic minority households have conditions to develop production and stabilize their lives.
