Hoi An recognizes 13 3-star OCOP products in 2025

(QNO) - Hoi An City People's Committee has just decided to recognize the results of evaluation, classification and certification of OCOP products under the One Commune One Product 2025 program.

This year, Hoi An has 13 products from 11 entities recognized as 3-star OCOP products with 9 new products and 4 re-recognized products.

New products include: Ceramic lantern decoration set, Hoi An Bridge Pagoda pen holder, 12 zodiac clocks, Kim Bong - Hoi An pure plant protein powder, Bach Thao incense, Hoi An grilled sausage, Spicy and crispy dried crickets, Tho Moc tea, Healthy Snack.

Four products recognized as 3-star OCOP are Me Mit Black Sesame Lotus Seed Cereal, Pure Peanut Butter, Phuc Nguyen Dried Kumquat, and Hoi An Lanterns (Dé Lantana Lanterns).

Products with 3-star rating are granted certificates by the City People's Committee, use the "National OCOP" logo and star rating printed on the packaging. The bonus level for product manufacturers is according to Circular No. 55 dated August 15, 2023 of the Ministry of Finance . The results of recognizing the 3-star OCOP classification are valid for 3 years (36 months) from the date of signing and issuance of the decision.

In addition, Hoi An City People's Committee also approved the results of scoring, evaluating and classifying OCOP products for products proposed for 4-star recognition including Tho Moc tea, Me Mit black sesame lotus seed cereal and Hoi An lantern (Dé Lantana lantern).

At the same time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to advise on the content and documents of the products to submit to the People's Committee of Quang Nam province to propose evaluation and recognition of 4-star OCOP products in 2025.
