Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper Mai Duc Thong presents gifts from the province to the people of Hiep Trung village.

Hiep Trung village has 104 households, 401 people with 6 ethnic groups: Cao Lan, Mong, Dao, Tay, San Diu, Kinh living together. In recent years, the villagers have joined hands, united, promoted the strength of great solidarity; actively responded to the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"... Programs and campaigns launched at all levels have been actively responded to by the people. In particular, the people contributed to building a football field of over 24 million VND; building a village gate of over 63 million VND; building 570 m of concrete road with a cost of 170 million VND; supporting flood victims due to storm No. 3 with nearly 14 million VND.

Up to now, the average income per capita of the village has reached 36 million VND/year. 100% of households in the village have access to clean water; the number of households meeting the cultural family standards has reached 93%. For many consecutive years, Hiep Trung has achieved the title of Cultural Residential Area.

Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper Mai Duc Thong expressed his joy at the results in socio-economic development that the village has achieved. He suggested that in the coming time, the Party cell, the Village Front Committee and the people continue to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, mutual love and support, help each other to develop the economy; promote the sense of community responsibility in the movement to build new rural areas, maintain political security, social order and safety in residential areas...
