Kinhtedothi - On the occasion of the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day March 8 and the 1985th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising, the Hanoi Civil Servants' Union organized a conference to summarize the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" in 2024, and the Women's Club activities, Term I/2025.
Attending the conference were Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee Doan Trung Tuan; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation Nguyen Chinh Huu, Chairman of the Hanoi Civil Servants' Union; representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City... and 80 outstanding individuals in the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at home" in 2024.
Reporting on the results of the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at home" in 2024, Vice President of the Hanoi Civil Servants' Union Vu Quynh Huong said that last year, female civil servants and public employees of the Hanoi Civil Servants' Union achieved remarkable achievements, making direct contributions to the work of advising, planning, and organizing the implementation of the city's policies and guidelines.
There have been over 4,000 female civil servants and public employees who have achieved the titles of "Advanced Workers", "Emulation Fighters at the grassroots level", "Good People - Good Deeds", and have been awarded many certificates of merit at all levels, affirming their capacity in work. Many comrades have been trusted and promoted to key positions in agencies and units under the city's departments, branches, sectors and unions.
In addition, 50 families of exemplary civil servants and public employees were commended and rewarded by the City Labor Federation and the City Civil Servants' Trade Union; 126 children achieved high academic achievements and 20 children overcame difficulties to study well in the 2023-2024 school year were commended and rewarded by the City Civil Servants' Trade Union; 3,872 female union members were recognized with the title "Good at public work - good at housework" at the grassroots level.
In addition, Vice President of the Hanoi Civil Servants' Union Vu Quynh Huong also emphasized the mission and role of women in the new era, which is to build Vietnamese women of the new era who are knowledgeable, healthy, dynamic and creative, have a cultured lifestyle, are kind-hearted, care about the common interests, and are determined to both excellently complete professional tasks and build a "warm, progressive, happy, civilized" family, build cultural agencies and units, and build a civilized, modern, and cultural capital.
In order to continue promoting the moral qualities of Vietnamese women "Confidence, self-respect, loyalty, and responsibility", the Standing Committee of the City Civil Servants' Trade Union recommends that grassroots trade unions continue to research and innovate the content and methods of operation, regularly grasp the thoughts, feelings, and aspirations of female civil servants and public employees to promptly care for and improve the effectiveness of mobilizing female civil servants and public employees; at the same time, promote emulation movements among female union members, focusing on the movement "Good at public work, good at housework", attracting a large number of female civil servants and public employees to participate.
At the conference, recognizing the efforts of women, the City Civil Servants' Union continued to commend 8 collectives and 80 outstanding individuals in the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" in 2024.
