(DN) - At 7:30 p.m. on June 30, at Dong Nai Province Square Park, an art program will take place to celebrate the new Dong Nai province and the official inauguration of communes and wards.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 dated June 12, 2025 of the National Assembly on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units, including the arrangement of the entire natural area and population size of Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces into a new province called Dong Nai province. From July 1, the new Dong Nai province with 95 communes and wards will come into operation.

Previously, on the morning of June 30, Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee will hold a ceremony to announce the National Assembly's resolution on merging provinces; the Party Central Committee's decisions on establishing the provincial Party Committee and the leadership personnel of the new Dong Nai province.
