News, pepper price forecast tomorrow June 27, 2025

Domestic market on June 27, 2025

Based on the trend of today's trading session, domestic pepper prices on June 27, 2025 are forecasted to remain stable or increase slightly in some localities. Although demand from export enterprises is not really strong and farmers still hold on to their goods waiting for prices to increase, the domestic market is likely to fluctuate in the price range of 124,000 - 126,000 VND/kg.

However, the pressure from the downward trend of Vietnam's pepper export prices may make it difficult for the domestic market to increase prices sharply. Therefore, pepper growers should be cautious, carefully consider the time of sale to optimize profits, and continue to invest in improving product quality to increase long-term competitiveness.

International market on June 27, 2025

According to the latest updated data from the International Pepper Community (IPC), world pepper prices on June 27, 2025 showed a clear differentiation between producing countries. The Indonesian market continued to record a slight increase, with Lampung black pepper prices reaching 7,501 USD/ton (up 0.48%) and Muntok white pepper at 10,132 USD/ton (up 0.47%). Meanwhile, pepper prices in Brazil and Malaysia remained stable, at 5,850 USD/ton and 9,000 - 11,750 USD/ton, respectively.

Notably, Vietnam's pepper export prices remained unchanged compared to the previous session, with black pepper of 500 g/l and 550 g/l at USD 5,800/ton and USD 5,900/ton, respectively, and white pepper at USD 8,800/ton. This stability reflects the cautious sentiment of export enterprises in the context of international market demand not yet recovering strongly.

Overall, it is forecasted that pepper prices tomorrow, June 27, 2025, on the international market will continue to move sideways or increase slightly, while the domestic market may remain stable with the possibility of a slight increase locally. Market participants need to closely monitor developments to seize opportunities and minimize risks.
