Public Health and Nutrition Department of Hong Bang International University takes the floor score of 15

GD&TĐ - On July 16, Hong Bang International University officially announced the minimum admission score for the 2025 high school graduation exam results.

Immediately after the Ministry of Education and Training announced the 2025 high school graduation exam score distribution, the Council of Hong Bang International University (HIU) officially announced the minimum admission scores for admission methods.

Specifically, for the method of considering high school graduation exam results and the admission method combining high school graduation exam scores with grade 12 transcripts (1 transcript subject + 2 high school graduation exam subjects), the floor score is 15 points, applied to admission for all regular university training majors in all groups of majors; including two majors in the health field: Public Health and Nutrition and majors in other fields.

Particularly for health-related majors that have a practice certificate/license to practice such as: Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Technology, Rehabilitation Technology and Medical Imaging Technology, the minimum admission score will be applied according to the input quality assurance threshold prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training (announced on July 21).

According to Mr. Ngo Tri Dung - Director of HIU Admissions and Communications Center, the above floor score is the minimum score for candidates to register for admission to HIU. This score is calculated based on the total score of the combination of 3 subjects corresponding to the training major (admission code) that the candidate registered for, including priority points according to region and subject according to current regulations.

If based on the transcript results, candidates must have an average score of 18 points in three subjects in grade 12 (total of 3 subjects in grade 12) or an average score of 6 points or higher for the entire year of grade 12. With the Ho Chi Minh City National University's ability assessment test or V-SAT, the school accepts applications from 15 points (converted to a 30-point scale).

For health-related majors, the entry score threshold based on the academic record of a combination of 3 subjects for Medicine and Dentistry is 24 points (requires excellent academic performance); Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy from 22.5 points (requires excellent academic performance); and the remaining majors from 19.5 points (requires good academic performance) including: Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, Medical Imaging Technology; from 18 points (no academic performance requirement) for 2 majors: Nutrition, Public Health.

All candidates taking the 2025 high school graduation exam, meeting the graduation recognition requirements and having a total admission score from the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) or higher, can apply for admission to Hong Bang International University.

Registration, adjustment and addition of admission wishes are carried out within the time prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training, from July 16 to before 5:00 p.m. on July 28, with no limit on the number of registrations.

Note, candidates do not need to choose the admission method code, admission combination code, just need to clearly identify the desired training program, major, and group of majors to decide to register. The general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training will use the method with the highest result of the candidate for admission.

Immediately after completing the registration of wishes on the system, candidates must pay the admission fee online to be considered as completing the registration process. In addition, candidates need to fully supplement the application according to regulations to be officially recognized as admitted.

Candidates can officially register their university admission wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's Information Portal at: http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.

When registering, candidates need to prioritize choosing HIU - Hong Bang International University as their first choice and choose the correct admission code corresponding to the major code among HIU's 40 training majors.

Admission results are expected to be announced before 17 days, August 22.
