The delegation held an incense and flower offering ceremony at the Memorial Site of Female General Nguyen Thi Dinh (Luong Hoa Commune, Vinh Long Province). Female General Nguyen Thi Dinh was the first woman to hold the rank of general in the Vietnam People's Army, the founder of the "Long-haired Army", and one of the key leaders of the Dong Khoi Movement in 1960. Her image is a typical symbol of the intelligence, spirit and loyalty of Vietnamese women.

The delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate and express their deep respect and gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of female general Nguyen Thi Dinh and the fallen heroes and martyrs, who devoted their lives to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
* On the same day, the delegation continued to organize a memorial service for comrade Nguyen Thi Thap at the Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Memorial Site (Long Hung Commune, Dong Thap Province). Comrade Nguyen Thi Thap, former President of the Vietnam Women's Union, made many important contributions to mobilizing women to participate in the revolution, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc. She was also the first Vietnamese woman to be awarded the Gold Star Order by the Party and State, the most noble award of our State.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Head of the Military Women's Committee, emphasized: "The incense sticks and flowers that the Military Women's Committee offers today are a sincere gratitude to the loyal women who have devoted their lives to the revolutionary cause. We vow to continue the glorious tradition, promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, build happy families, fulfill our tasks well, and be worthy of the trust and love of the Party, State and people."

Within the framework of the activities, the Working Group of the Military Region 9 presided over and coordinated with the Political Department of Military Region 9 and the Military Commands of the Military Commands of Vinh Long and Dong Thap provinces to present 200 gifts to policy beneficiaries and women members in especially difficult circumstances in the area. Each gift is worth 1 million VND in cash along with essential necessities, demonstrating the affection, responsibility and deep gratitude of the officers and women members of the Military Region 9 armed forces towards policy beneficiaries and those who have contributed to the revolution.
* On this occasion, the Political Department of Military Region 9 also provided support for the construction of a “Border Warm House” worth 80 million VND to a female member with extremely difficult housing circumstances. This is an activity within the program “Accompanying Women in the Border Area” in 2025 implemented by the Women's Armed Forces of Military Region 9.
