Body of boy found in capsized boat in Ha Long Bay

Before storm No. 3 made landfall, on the morning of July 21, authorities in Quang Ninh province found the body of a child drifting near Titop Island, Ha Long Bay.

According to verification, this is one of the four missing people in the tourist boat capsized in Ha Long Bay that occurred on the afternoon of July 19. Currently, the child's body has been handed over to the hospital for further procedures.

Thus, in the shipwreck that left 49 people in distress in Ha Long Bay on the afternoon of July 19, in addition to 10 survivors, 36 people died, and only 3 victims are missing at sea. Along with the work of preventing and fighting against storm Wipha, the functional forces of Quang Ninh province are still actively searching for the remaining victims of the shipwreck, with the goal of giving the highest priority to search and rescue work.
