On the evening of July 21, at the Cultural House of the People's Committee of Phuc Trach Commune, the Ha Tinh Center for Culture, Cinema and Tourism Promotion organized a screening program of revolutionary-themed films.
This activity is part of the mobile film screening week to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The program was attended by 70 officers and soldiers of Regiment 841 and many local people.

At the program, the audience enjoyed two films, including the documentary "The Truong Son girls driving" and the feature film "The smell of burning grass".
Through historical witnesses, the documentary "The Truong Son Girls Drivers" recreates the image of the female driver platoon of the Vietnam People's Army during the resistance war against the US. They were resilient and brave female soldiers, overcoming hardships, crossing forests and wading streams on the Truong Son road to transport military supplies and equipment to serve the southern battlefield.

The film “The Scent of Burning Grass” is a cinematic work based on the diary “Forever 20” by Martyr Nguyen Van Thac, realistically and clearly recreating the 81-day and night battle to defend Quang Tri ancient citadel in 1972 by our army and people.
The film is a realistic slice of war and the image of simple, familiar but resilient soldiers. They are young men in their late teens and early twenties, full of dreams and ambitions, but in response to the sacred call of the Fatherland, they volunteered to go to war, fought bravely, and sacrificed for peace and national independence...

In addition, during the screening, audiences will also have the opportunity to watch the film "Don't Burn" by director Dang Nhat Minh, based on the famous diary of female doctor and martyr Dang Thuy Tram...
As planned, the mobile film screening week organized by the provincial Center for Culture, Cinema and Tourism Promotion will take place from July 21-25.
After Phuc Trach commune, the film will be shown in Vu Quang, Yen Hoa, Huong Son communes and Hai Ninh ward.
