Implementing plans to prevent storm No. 3, the authorities organized many teams in Quang Hanh ward to increase inspections at night, asking people to leave anchored boats and dangerous areas to go ashore to avoid the storm with the goal of ensuring people's safety above all.

In Quang Hanh ward, there are a total of 167 boats taking shelter from the storm in the areas of Ben Do fishing port, Cam Pha cement factory canal and canal along the coastal road...

Through propaganda and reminders, all boats strictly followed the request of local authorities to leave their boats and return to designated shelters or go home to avoid the storm. However, some fishermen still subjectively returned to the boat area at night.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, Commander of the Quang Hanh Ward Military Command, said: Today, the authorities have supported and evacuated people from dangerous areas as well as fishermen from shelters to safe places. However, some people have come back to get more belongings and intend to stay on the boat; through regular patrols, we resolutely do not allow them to stay with the view that fishermen will not be allowed to stay on the boat when the storm comes, all cases of non-cooperation will be forced to go ashore that night.

Despite being reminded many times, many fishermen who took shelter from the storm in Quang Hanh ward still returned to their boats.

With the goal of ensuring people's safety, at night, Quang Hanh ward authorities continued to check each anchorage area.

Authorities went down to the boats to check and asked people not to hide, to go ashore to a safe shelter.

"The inspection and review were carried out thoroughly, ensuring that there were no people left under the boats in the anchorage area.

Authorities are reminding people to seek safe shelter and not to return to their boats until the storm has passed and the weather has stabilized.

For those who do not have a place to take shelter from the storm, the authorities have disseminated information and brought them to a safe place prepared by Quang Hanh ward.

Authorities said that all cases of non-cooperation will be forced to shore that night.

Authorities continue to check areas where ships are moored and docked, not allowing people to return until absolute safety is ensured.

Along with aquaculture households at sea and fishermen taking shelter, today Quang Hanh ward asked 33 households in areas at risk of landslides and falling rocks to return to safe places.
