Car found washed away despite warnings after overpass

On the morning of July 30, the leader of the People's Committee of Tan Lap commune, Quang Tri province confirmed that the search team had found a car that ignored warnings about crossing the spillway and was swept away by the strong current.

The Mazda 3 was found about 50 meters from the accident site. The search team included the youth union, village militia and people from Con village, Tan Lap commune. A crane was hired to help pull the car to shore.

After many hours of effort, by noon on July 30, the car was pulled up to the stream bank to be handed over to the owner. The current condition shows that the car's body was damaged in many places due to impact.

Previously, at around 5:00 p.m. on July 26, at the spillway connecting Tan Trung village and Con village, Tan Lap commune, 4 young men driving the above car ignored warnings and arbitrarily removed the barrier to cross the flooded spillway.

At that time, the water was high and flowing strongly, so the car was swept away. Fortunately, all 4 people in the car were rescued by the authorities and local people in time and escaped safely.
