(DTO) After nearly 5 years of construction with a total investment of 6,810.11 billion VND, Rach Mieu 2 cable-stayed bridge connecting Dong Thap and Vinh Long provinces is about to be officially completed. This is a key traffic project contributing to connecting the Western provinces, promoting the socio-economic development of the Mekong Delta region.

Every day, the construction site maintains more than 35 construction sites with about 100 pieces of equipment, 350 workers and 70 technical staff working in 3 shifts, 4 teams. All are determined to complete the project ahead of schedule according to the Prime Minister's direction.

It is expected that by July 31, 2025, all remaining items will be completed, and before September 2, 2025, it will be officially inaugurated and put into operation, contributing to connecting the provinces of the Southwest.
