On November 29, information from the leader of Tuan Viet Commune Police (Kim Thanh District, Hai Duong ) said that an abandoned newborn baby boy had just been discovered in the area.
Earlier, at around 1:20 p.m. the same day, Tuan Viet Commune Police received a report from local residents about the discovery of a newborn baby, purple and abandoned at the Cam Dong village dike watchtower. The newborn was a boy, with the umbilical cord still attached, weighing about 3.8 kg.
Afterwards, Tuan Viet Commune Police quickly used a specialized vehicle to take the child to the commune health station to warm him up and provide first aid to help stabilize his health.
Abandoned newborn baby boy is being cared for at Tuan Viet Commune Health Station
Initial examination showed that the abandoned newborn baby boy was not deformed or disabled, was wrapped in two towels and had no other clothes or belongings with him.
Currently, the abandoned newborn baby boy is being cared for by staff at the Tuan Viet Commune Health Station. The People's Committee of this commune has also issued a notice to find relatives for the baby. After the deadline, if no relatives come to claim the baby, the authorities will carry out the procedures for adoption according to regulations.
