And that is also a concrete action affirming the commitment of "not letting any student drop out of the exam due to difficult circumstances", which has been determinedly implemented by the Departmentof Education and Training and all levels and sectors of Dien Bien province for many years...

As one of the individuals who has been accompanying the education sector for many years in calling for and mobilizing support for students to prepare for the high school graduation exam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, President of the Women's Union of Muong Nhe district, has a lot of experience in mobilizing resources to provide timely support to students. Along with that, Ms. Ha also proactively built a plan and assigned women's union members to help cook for the children during the exam days.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha said: From the support and contributions of members, in early June, the District Women's Union gave cash, instant noodles, and squash to support 12th grade students studying at two schools: Muong Nhe District High School and Ethnic Boarding School so that teachers could cook extra meals for them at night. During the 3 days of the exam, 15 women's union members volunteered to go to the exam site to cook and encourage the students, helping them to ensure their health and stay mentally strong.

At the Nam Po District Boarding Ethnic Minority High School, these days, most of the teachers assigned to review and take care of students studying for exams do not leave school. Mr. Nguyen Van Tap, Principal of Nam Po District Boarding Ethnic Minority High School, said: “Reviewing is a stressful and tiring time, so students really need to be cared for and encouraged.

But here, all the students are far from home, far from their parents; many of them (71/104 grade 12 students) have difficult circumstances, so their meals, sleep, and study hours are all taken care of by the teachers at the school. Although they don't say it, deep down, every teacher thinks that in just a few days, the students will leave their school, teachers, and friends, so we all spend time prioritizing care and nurturing their knowledge so that they can confidently enter the exam."

Mr. Tap added that in addition to the meals provided by the State, the school recently received 292 boxes of instant noodles and pho and 10 million VND in cash from benefactors to supplement the children's mid-break meals. The provincial "For the Poor" Fund also supported 300,000 VND for 71 disadvantaged students of the school to help them have more conditions to buy supplies for their review.

Giang A Phu, class 12C1, Nam Po District Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, said: “Although we are far away from our parents and families, our teachers love us like their own children. Every day, our teachers take care of our meals and sleep. Currently, my friends and I are only focused on studying and reviewing knowledge to prepare for the exam; as for food, accommodation, and daily diet, we do not have to worry! I will try my best to study and get the best results to be worthy of the care and education that our teachers have given us.”

Directly awarding scholarships and financial support to hundreds of 12th grade students in difficult circumstances in the districts of Dien Bien Dong, Tua Chua, Nam Po, Mr. Mua A Vang, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province, said: Understanding the students' circumstances, on May 22, the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee decided to allocate more than 392 million VND from the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund to support 1,307 students in difficult circumstances to participate in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. Accordingly, each student will receive 300,000 VND; this will be a source of motivation to add confidence and motivation for them to strive.

Mr. Cu Huy Hoan, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, said: The whole province currently has more than 6,800 grade 12 students entering the final stage, preparing for the high school graduation exam. Among the students taking the exam, there are 1,037 students in difficult circumstances, who have been supported by the Fund for the Poor with 300,000 VND/student; along with that, many organizations and individuals have supported money and food for schools to cook for the students. Regarding the funding source, the Fund "For the Poor" has allocated, the Department of Education and Training has given it to 40 schools, the Continuing Education Center and the Provincial Social Protection Facility.

Most of the students receiving support are from schools in mountainous areas and areas with special difficulties, such as: Muong Nhe High School has 150 students, total support fund is 45 million VND; Phan Dinh Giot High School (Dien Bien Phu city) has 86 students, total support fund is 25.8 million VND; Nam Po Ethnic Boarding High School - High School has 71 students, total support fund is 21.3 million VND; Tua Chua High School has 70 students, total support fund is 21 million VND...

“In addition to material support, during the exam days, Dien Bien province also has thousands of union members, youth, cadres, and soldiers of the armed forces on duty, ready to support and take students to the exam sites; ensuring that no student has to miss the exam due to difficult circumstances or affected by weather or traffic jams,” Mr. Cu Huy Hoan added.
