Tien Giang: Organizing a Competition on Using Energy Efficiently and Economically

(ABO) On June 20, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with Tien Giang Provincial Youth Union to organize the Contest "Using energy economically and efficiently for Youth Union officials" in 2025.

The contest had the participation of 5 teams from the following units: Chau Thanh District Youth Union, Cai Lay Town Youth Union, Tan Phuoc District Youth Union, My Tho City Youth Union and Tien Giang University.

The teams went through 4 rounds: Self-introduction; Knowledge test; Understanding teammates' ideas and Propaganda and mobilization skills. The contest focused on practical measures and actions in using energy economically and effectively, along with messages of environmental protection and climate change response.

In his opening speech, Mr. Huynh Van Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, emphasized that the contest is an opportunity for union members to raise awareness and spread specific actions in implementing a green lifestyle and using energy reasonably.

The contest took place in an exciting atmosphere, demonstrating the creativity and solidarity of the youth of the whole province. At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the teams with outstanding achievements. This is an activity carried out under the Coordination Plan No. 1548/KHPH-SCT-ĐTNCSHCM, aiming to widely propagate the awareness of energy saving among union members, youth and the community.
