Hanoi Tax Department determined to complete 45-day campaign to support digital transformation

Implementing Directive No. 11/CT-UBND dated July 24, 2025 of the Hanoi People's Committee on the implementation of the campaign "45 days and nights of supporting digital transformation activities in communes and wards in the initial phase of operating the two-level local government model", Hanoi City Tax has directed local Tax agencies to closely coordinate with the People's Committees of wards and communes to establish working groups to support people in digital transformation.

The campaign started on July 24 and lasted for 45 consecutive days. Immediately after its launch, the tax authorities and local authorities agreed on a plan and assigned forces to each residential area. In particular, many digital transformation teams were established, with the active participation of youth union members and tax officials. Tax officers worked overtime, from 5pm to 9pm every day, including Saturdays and Sundays, to directly support people.

In a bustling atmosphere, thousands of people received direct advice, installation, bank connection, tax lookup and tax payment on the spot from tax officers and support staff.

People not only fulfill their obligations to pay non- agricultural land use tax but are also guided on how to pay personal income tax, registration fees, etc. through the eTax Mobile application.

With the spirit of “Accompanying - Supporting - For the satisfaction of the people”, the team of Hanoi City Tax officers is becoming “digital transformation propagandists”, bringing online public services to every household, helping to reduce time, costs and risks in the process of fulfilling tax obligations. The support work not only helps people quickly access electronic tax services but also spreads the spirit of digital transformation, creating closeness and connection between tax officers and the people.
