Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Nvidia CEO drink beer on Ta Hien street

On the evening of December 5, after attending the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement to establish two AI centers in Vietnam, Mr. Jensen Huang and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited Ngoc Son Temple, then took the tram to Ta Hien at around 10 p.m. The Nvidia founder appeared with a familiar appearance, a T-shirt and black jeans.

The appearance of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the founder of Nvidia attracted the attention of many people and visitors around. The two men shook hands, talked and took photos with everyone.

Mr. Jensen Huang’s visit this year is considered to be meaningful for both Vietnam and Nvidia. After attending the signing ceremony to establish an R&D center and an AI Data center in Vietnam, Mr. Huang is expected to attend a number of domestic science and technology events.

The two men held a baby when they met at a restaurant. In an earlier speech, the Nvidia chief said Vietnam had "rich culture, beautiful people, great cuisine" and believed that it would continue to be known for its "advanced technology".

Although this is his second visit to Vietnam, the Nvidia founder is recognized by many people thanks to his silver hair, black clothes and often appears in his signature leather jacket. He happily signs autographs for fans.

Earlier, at the signing ceremony for the AI center, Mr. Huang thanked Vietnam for welcoming him and said he would make this country Nvidia's second home. "Today is our birthday, so welcome to the party," he said.

Jensen Huang, born in 1963, currently owns a fortune of more than 126 billion USD, most of which comes from shares in Nvidia, the world's number one AI chip company. He co-founded the company in 1993 with initial products aimed at supporting graphics and gaming processing, but later exploited its processing capacity and used in many fields, including AI.

Since the artificial intelligence boom in 2022, demand for Nvidia's chips has skyrocketed, pushing the company past a valuation of over $3.5 trillion and steadily competing with Apple for the title of most valuable on the planet.
