Emulation bloc of Associations assigned tasks by the Party and State in the province deploys tasks for the last 6 months of the year

On the morning of July 18, in Ha Long ward, the Emulation Bloc of Associations assigned by the Party and State in the province organized a preliminary review of the emulation movement in the first 6 months of 2025 and deployed tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

Comrade Do Ngoc Ha, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Journalists Association, Head of the Emulation Bloc of Associations assigned by the Party and State, spoke at the conference.

The emulation bloc of Associations assigned by the Party and State in the province has 13 members, including: Association of Former Youth Volunteers, Association of Lawyers, Cooperative Union, Union of Science and Technology Associations, Red Cross Association, Association of Literature and Arts, Association for Promotion of Education, Association of Agent Orange Victims, Association of the Elderly, Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans, Association of the Blind, Association of Oriental Medicine, and Association of Journalists.

In the first 6 months of the year, the units in the Bloc have proactively and promptly developed programs and plans to implement emulation and reward work, organized and launched emulation campaigns in the system of each Association organization and directed the implementation to the grassroots with many new features, in accordance with the functions and tasks, associated with the general emulation movement launched by the Central and the province. Accordingly, the emulation movement in the Bloc has recorded many bright spots, from propaganda work, dissemination of legal policies to discovery, training, and replication of advanced models, advising and proposing social security policies, economic development, building cultural life, human resource development, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio -economic development tasks of the province.

Some outstanding results are as follows: The Association of Former Youth Volunteers coordinated with the Youth Union to support 4 members to repair their houses; organized for 115 cadres and members to visit the old battlefield. The Provincial Lawyers Association directly contributed opinions to 8 Law projects, especially contributing opinions to the draft resolution amending and supplementing the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2013. The Provincial Red Cross Association mobilized nearly 20 billion VND to support over 62,000 people. The Literature and Arts Association successfully organized many seminars, exhibitions, announcements, and performances of works. The Association of Agent Orange Victims supported the care of 147 Agent Orange victims with severe illnesses and disabilities in difficult circumstances with an amount of over 404 million VND. The Provincial Journalists Association has carried out many practical activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press, successfully organizing the Journalism Competition with the theme "Journalism accompanies the development of Quang Ninh province". In particular, participating in the National Journalism Awards and national-level specialized journalism competitions and awards, members of the Provincial Journalists Association have excellently won 1 B prize, 2 C prizes, 1 Encouragement prize; Participating in the 42nd National Television Festival, there were 5 award-winning works, including 1 Gold prize, 1 Silver prize...

At the conference, the units also exchanged, discussed, shared experiences, and found appropriate directions to further improve the effectiveness of emulation and reward work of each unit in the Bloc.

Comrade Hoang Ba Nam, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, Chairman of Ha Long Ward People's Council, informed about the initial results after officially operating the 2-level local government model in the ward.

Deploying tasks for the last 6 months of the year, units in the Bloc continue to strive to successfully implement the 6 main contents in the emulation covenant at the beginning of the year. At the same time, proactively innovate and be creative in propaganda work, aiming to educate and mobilize union members, association members and people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and local regulations; actively respond to patriotic emulation movements in the area; members of the organization are examples of innovation and creativity leading the patriotic emulation movement. Along with that, continue to innovate and organize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently.

The Associations assigned by the Party and State in the province learn about the actual work of handling administrative procedures for people at the Public Administration Service Center of Ha Long ward.

Within the framework of the conference, the units in the Bloc learned about the actual organizational model, activities of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations of Ha Long ward. The leaders of Ha Long ward directly introduced the organizational model, operation methods, coordination between the Party Committee, government and socio-political organizations; the initial results after the official operation of the 2-level local government model. This is a valuable opportunity for the Associations in the Bloc to learn and accumulate more practical experience, thereby improving the quality of activities, and becoming more closely connected with people's lives.
