Agree on the plan to organize the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025

Attending the meeting on behalf of Lao Cai province (Vietnam) were Mr. Do Xuan Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance as Head of the delegation and leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

On the side of Hong Ha district, Yunnan province (China), there was Mr. Ly Tri Quoc, Deputy Director of Hong Ha district's Trade Department, as Head of the delegation and representatives of relevant agencies and units.

At the meeting, representatives of the Fair Organizing Committee of Lao Cai province (Vietnam) and Hong Ha district, Yunnan province (China) agreed on a number of contents related to the overall plan (time, location, scale, type, sideline programs...) and preparations for the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025.

Accordingly, the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025 will be held for 6 days, from November 11 to 16, 2025 at Kim Thanh Exhibition Center, Lao Cai province with the theme "Lao Cai and Yunnan - Connection and Development".

The fair has a scale of 500 to 550 standard booths and about ^4,000m2 of exhibition area (special exhibition area is exhibited in prefabricated house, car exhibition area, cuisine ...)

Products participating in the Fair include: Agriculture, forestry, aquatic products; machinery and equipment, electronics, refrigeration, household appliances, garments, footwear; handicrafts; exhibition booths promoting investment, trade and tourism , etc. Priority is given to branded products that meet import and export conditions of associations, industries; enterprises of Vietnam, China, third countries and other countries and territories.

During the Fair, there will be many activities such as: Conference to introduce mechanisms, policies, investment attraction projects, Economic and Trade Cooperation Talks between Lao Cai (Vietnam) and Yunnan (China); especially the Megalive Program to introduce, promote and sell products directly at the Fair...

Regarding some proposed and recommended contents that are not within the authority, the two sides agreed to report and seek opinions from competent authorities of Lao Cai province and Hong Ha district to adjust the Fair organization plan to be suitable and effective.
