Conference to introduce the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai), 2025

On August 20-21, in Kunming city, Yunnan province and Hangzhou city, Zhejiang province (China), the Center for Investment, Trade and Enterprise Support of Lao Cai province organized a conference to introduce information about the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025.

Attending the conference were leaders of relevant departments and units of Lao Cai province (Vietnam), including: Finance, Industry and Trade, Foreign Affairs, Provincial People's Committee Office, Provincial Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Lao Cai province (Vietnam) informed about the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025.

Accordingly, this year's fair has the theme "Lao Cai and Yunnan - Connection and Development", taking place for 6 days (from November 19 to 24, 2025), at Kim Thanh Exhibition Center, Lao Cai ward.

The fair has a scale of 500 - 550 standard booths, with an exhibition area of ​​about 4,000 ^m2 , including a special exhibition area in a prefabricated house, an auto exhibition area and a culinary area.

Participants include domestic and international economic organizations; associations, industries; Vietnamese, Chinese and third country enterprises.

The diverse items on display include: agricultural, forestry, aquatic and seafood products; machinery, equipment, raw materials, chemicals and construction materials; electronics, refrigeration, household electrical appliances; garments, footwear; consumer goods; wooden household furniture, handicrafts.

The fair prioritizes booths displaying branded products that meet import-export conditions, and booths promoting investment, trade and tourism.

Lao Cai province provides financial support for Chinese enterprises to carry out customs declaration procedures, medical quarantine, animal quarantine, plant quarantine, fees for using infrastructure works, service works, and public utilities in the border gate area.

New at this year's fair is the Megalive Program, introducing, promoting and selling products directly at the event.

On the sidelines of the fair, the two sides coordinated to organize a conference to introduce import-export mechanisms and policies, combined with trade between Vietnamese and Chinese commercial, service and logistics enterprises.

The Vietnam-China International Trade Fair, held annually alternately between Lao Cai Province and Yunnan Province (China), is a large-scale economic forum with 600-800 booths of domestic and international enterprises participating. On the sidelines of the event, many activities to connect, promote investment, trade and tourism were implemented, creating conditions for businesses of the two countries to sign many cooperation contracts.
