Dong Thap: Handing over 7 houses to poor households

(DTO) On August 22, authorized by the Party Committee and the Military Region 9 Command, Colonel Tran Van Hien, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Command of Dong Thap province, handed over 4 "Houses of Gratitude" and "Houses of Comrades" to families of policy beneficiaries and soldiers with difficult housing circumstances.

Colonel Tran Van Hien, Deputy Political Commissar of Dong Thap Provincial Military Command (left cover) presented the decision to donate the "House of Gratitude" and gifts to Mr. Le Van Chien.

Accordingly, 2 "Houses of Gratitude" were handed over to Mr. Le Van Chien (residing in Ba Sao commune, Dong Thap province), a 4/4 disabled veteran, and Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuc (residing in An Binh ward, Dong Thap province), a policy beneficiary. 2 "Houses of Comrades" were handed over to Major Pham Ngoc Dung (residing in Phu Tho commune, Dong Thap province), former Political Assistant (formerly Tan Hong District Military Command) and Lieutenant Vo Thanh Thang (residing in Tan Long commune, Dong Thap province) of Infantry Regiment 320, Dong Thap Provincial Military Command. Of which, the Military Region 9 Command supported 2 "Houses of Comrades", 1 "House of Gratitude", worth 80 million VND/house and the Provincial Military Command supported 1 "House of Gratitude", worth 80 million VND.

On the afternoon of August 21, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuong Lac Ward (Dong Thap Province) coordinated with the People's Committee of An Lac Hamlet and An Binh House Building Team to hand over 2 "Great Unity Houses" to Mr. Doan Van Neu and Mr. Dinh Van Y, who are poor households, with a total value of more than 100 million VND, of which An Binh House Building Team supported 90 million VND.

Previously, on August 19, the People's Committee of Hong Ngu Ward (Dong Thap Province) coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward to organize the handover of the "Great Unity House" to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hung (residing in Hong Ngu Ward), a near-poor household, with a value of 60 million VND taken from the ward's "For the Poor" Fund.

Leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hong Ngu Ward, Dong Thap Province organized a house handover ceremony for Ms. Nguyen Thi Hung.

Housing support aims to help households have stable housing, peace of mind in working, production and gradually improve their lives.
