At the program, more than 200 female workers received health check-ups, consultations, ultrasounds, cancer screenings, and communication to raise awareness about reproductive health care. Each check-up costs from 500,000 to 700,000 VND, completely free of charge. In addition, each female worker also received a gift including gifts and cash worth 250,000 VND. The total cost of the program is more than 140 million VND.
The program is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, and at the same time demonstrates the concern of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union for the lives of union members and workers.

Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Nguyen Kim Loan said the program aims to help workers detect underlying diseases early, thereby providing appropriate treatment and limiting complications. She also called on unions at all levels to proactively coordinate with businesses and medical facilities to expand regular health care activities for workers.
Ms. Kim Loan encourages workers to build a healthy lifestyle, exercise regularly and take proactive care of themselves, contributing to improving the quality of life and maintaining family happiness.
