Join hands to spread love to students in Tra Lan flood area

This is a meaningful work of the union members and employees of Petroleum Transport and Supply Joint Stock Company to join hands to support families and students in Con Cuong commune, Nghe An province to overcome the severe consequences of the recent storm No. 3 (Wipha).

Storm No. 3 (Wipha) passed through and caused severe damage to property. Con Cuong commune, Nghe An province was one of the localities severely affected, when the storm led to landslides, severe flooding, causing extensive damage to crops, infrastructure and the power system.

Deputy Director of Petroleum Transport and Supply Joint Stock Company Nguyen Anh Tuan, along with representatives of the Trade Union and officers and employees of the Company participating in the trip, directly met, visited, encouraged and gave meaningful gifts to families who suffered heavy losses in Con Cuong commune, and families of students of Tra Lan Secondary School affected by Storm No. 3.

Understanding the hardships of local people, the Board of Directors, the Trade Union and all officers, union members and employees of the Company joined hands to donate from the Welfare Fund, the Trade Union Fund, and voluntary contributions. The total amount of support was 128 million VND, which was handed to 62 families of students who were most severely affected.

Each gift not only has material value but also conveys the feelings of sharing and spiritual encouragement for the children and their families. On the faces of many parents, the joy mixed with emotional tears shows how warm the Vietnamese tradition of "helping each other" is in difficult times. This activity is a vivid demonstration of the spirit of social responsibility that the Petroleum Transport and Supply Joint Stock Company has always maintained and promoted throughout its development journey. Not only stopping at production and business, the company also actively spreads humane values, joins hands to support the community to overcome difficulties, contributing to building a society rich in compassion.
