Provincial Women's Union gives gifts to Minh Tan and Tung Ba communes

On August 22, the Provincial Women's Union organized a gift-giving program in Minh Tan and Tung Ba communes. Attending were comrade Au Thi Mai, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union.

The delegation presented funds for the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" to Minh Tan commune.

The Provincial Women's Union presented 40 scholarships to orphans in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025-2026 in 2 communes. At the same time, it presented 20 water filters to Minh Tan and Tung Ba primary schools and many children's clothes and school bags.

On this occasion, the delegation presented funds from the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" to 5 women's union members of Minh Tan commune with difficult circumstances to build auxiliary works, with a support level of 5 million VND/member.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Au Thi Mai, President of the Provincial Women's Union, shared the difficulties of members, women in disadvantaged and border areas. At the same time, she hoped that members would actively participate in emulation movements and union activities to improve the quality of life in all aspects. She requested the authorities of Minh Tan and Tung Ba communes to continue to pay attention to the work of women and children; organize practical social security activities with strong influence.
