Ho Chi Minh City National University informed that detailed information about the supplementary exam has been sent to each candidate.

Ho Chi Minh City National University also apologized to the affected candidates and committed to supporting candidates to attend the supplementary exam in the most convenient way.

As Dan Tri reported, after the second round of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam on June 1, a candidate at the HUTECH testing site "accused" the invigilator of causing them to lose about 30 minutes of testing time.

Specifically, according to the candidate's reflection, after the bell rang at 8:30, the exam supervisor announced that this was the time to read the questions and not to hold a pen, while in fact this was the time to do the test.

Although the candidates in the room spoke up many times, the invigilator in this exam room always confirmed that this was the time to read the questions.

At 9 o'clock, which was 30 minutes late, when there was a final reminder from the candidates, the invigilators asked and found out that the actual test time was from 8:30.

In addition, another incident occurred at this testing site where a candidate reported not being given scratch paper, causing difficulties in doing the test.

Initially, after this incident, the Examination Council stopped at having the examination cluster contact the affected candidates to directly apologize to the candidates and said there was no basis for adding or compensating points.

After that, Dan Tri newspaper published a series of articles reflecting that this incident could not be resolved by just apologizing, such as Candidates lost 30 minutes in the country's largest university entrance exam: Is an apology... the end?, Loopholes in the "hundred billion" competency assessment exam: An apology is not... the end, as well as pointing out many loopholes in the organization of this exam.

For many years, the Ho Chi Minh City National University's aptitude test has been the largest university entrance exam in the country in terms of both the number of candidates taking the test and the number of candidates using the results for admission.

This year, the exam attracted nearly 160,000 candidates to register for the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam. Currently, up to 110educational institutions nationwide use the exam results for admission consideration.
