On the evening of August 31, at Kim Son Pagoda, Hoa Thanh Ward, hundreds of Buddhists and locals gathered together, holding flower lanterns in their hands, sending their prayers with their hearts. The small lights were released into the water, forming a magical shimmering river, brightening up the space of the night ceremony. This is not only a traditional ritual, but also a cultural beauty imbued with humanity during Vu Lan season, a major holiday originating from Buddhism.

Each flower lantern released into the water not only adds beauty to the festival night, but also becomes a symbol of filial piety, gratitude and deep gratitude. That light carries a sacred prayer, conveying boundless love for parents, ancestors and all living beings.
