Ms. Tran Hoang Phuong, Head of the Sail Volunteer Group (Vinh Long province) and Major Dang Van Vu, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Border Guard Squadron 2, presented gifts to primary school students.

During the program, 90 gifts (worth 400,000 VND each) were given to primary, secondary and kindergarten students, giving them more confidence and motivation before the new school year. On this occasion, 20 gifts (worth 600,000 VND each) were also sent to families with preferential policies, contributing to sharing difficulties and encouraging their spirit.

Ms. Tran Hoang Phuong presented 2 special gifts to students with special difficulties at Le Loi Primary School.

Along with activities to care for students and people, Border Guard Squadron 2 also presented 50 national flags to Hiep Thanh Ward Youth Union, to promote and encourage fishermen to continue to go offshore, develop the economy in association with protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands and join hands with the whole country to remove the IUU "yellow card".

Major Dang Van Vu presented a symbolic plaque of 50 national flags to Hiep Thanh Ward Youth Union under the propaganda program to prevent IUU fishing.

Not only stopping at this program, in recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hiep Thanh Ward and the Ward Youth Union have actively mobilized benefactors, businesses, and philanthropists to accompany disadvantaged students. Up to now, the locality has presented 470 gifts, 40 scholarships, 5 bicycles and 1,400 notebooks, with a total value of more than 160 million VND.

Appreciating the support of units and benefactors, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Secretary of the Hiep Thanh Ward Youth Union Khuong Kim Hoang emotionally shared: “The companionship of the border guards, organizations, individuals and volunteer units is the motivation for students and families with difficult policies to rise up in life. These meaningful activities also contribute to strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people, creating a common strength to build the homeland to develop more and more.”

Secretary of Hiep Thanh Ward Youth Union Khuong Kim Hoang expressed gratitude to the sponsors.

The program “Helping children go to school” not only brings joy to students and families with preferential policies, but also spreads the spirit of mutual love, affirming the joint efforts of the armed forces, local authorities and the community in caring for the younger generation. This is also a testament to the responsibility and deep affection for the cause of educating people, giving children more strength to be more steadfast on the way to school.
