The program targets children from poor and near-poor households, students with disabilities, orphans, children of Agent Orange victims, students in coastal areas and ethnic minorities.

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Pham Minh Luyen, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Dang Tri Thu, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau; representatives of departments, branches, provincial People's Committees, Fatherland Front Committees of communes and wards; and representatives of sponsors: Mr. Tran Vu Thien Phuc (Chau Thoi 620 Concrete Joint Stock Company) and Mr. Lam Du Nhon (Chairman of Soc Trang Lottery One Member Co., Ltd.).

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi presented a symbolic board of bicycle and exercise book sponsorship to communes and wards.

Mr. Pham Minh Luyen presented a symbolic plaque to donate bicycles to disadvantaged students in Vinh Hau commune.

Mr. Dang Tri Thu, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau, presented a symbolic plaque to donate bicycles to disadvantaged students in Vinh My commune.

Mr. Tran Vu Thien Phuc and Mr. Lam Du Nhon presented symbolic boards to sponsor bicycles and notebooks for communes and wards.

Accordingly, the Vo Van Kiet Scholarship Fund received 100 bicycles from Chau Thoi 620 Concrete Joint Stock Company and VND240 million and 30,000 notebooks from Soc Trang Lottery Company Limited. At the program, 150 bicycles and 15,000 notebooks were given to students in 15 communes and wards, each receiving 10 bicycles and 1,000 notebooks. This is the second program organized by the Provincial Scholarship Fund to provide timely support to disadvantaged students before the new school year.

According to the Provincial Association, in the first 6 months of 2025, the Association mobilized 19.3 billion VND from the Education Promotion Fund and Education Socialization, awarding nearly 3,000 scholarships to poor students. Thanks to this support, many families have ensured their children's education, many children have maintained continuous education, become excellent students, contributing to building a learning society, reducing the dropout rate, and stabilizing social security.

In preparation for the opening of the 2025-2026 school year , the provincial People's Committee continues to mobilize businesses and philanthropists to support 500 bicycles and 45,000 notebooks for disadvantaged students.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Mr. Pham Minh Luyen, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department presented flowers and a plaque of recognition for the sponsors' golden hearts.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee expressed gratitude to the sponsors and acknowledged the efforts of the Provincial People's Committee in recent times.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Van Khoi acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and dedication of the Provincial Student Association in the past time. He emphasized that the Association has promoted its core role in promoting learning and talent, building a learning society, and at the same time creating strong connections and spreading from all walks of life, organizations and individuals. Thanks to that, many poor students have the opportunity to go to school, continue studying, start a career and stabilize their lives.

The leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also especially appreciate the companionship of businesses and benefactors inside and outside the province who have actively joined hands to support. At the same time, they expressed their wish that units continue to support the Vo Van Kiet Scholarship Fund, contributing more resources to help students overcome difficulties and rise up. The achieved results have affirmed the important role and contribution of the Provincial Scholarship Fund to the socio-economic development of the locality.
