BTO-On June 5, the Provincial Department of Health coordinated with the Provincial Association of the Elderly to visit and present gifts to the elderly in difficult circumstances in Tanh Linh, Ham Tan and La Gi town, on the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese Elderly (June 6, 1941 - June 6, 2025).

Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented gifts to 15 elderly people from policy families, meritorious people, living alone or in especially difficult circumstances. Each person received a gift worth 1 million VND. Each district had 5 elderly people visited and presented gifts.

At the destinations, representatives of the units kindly asked about the health and daily life of each elderly person, shared and listened to the thoughts of each elderly person. Among them, there were elderly people, weak, unable to travel conveniently; some people lived alone, unmarried; some people had to take care of sick children alone. These situations were all recognized and encouraged by the units; showing care and gratitude to the elderly.

At the same time, I would like to wish the elderly good health, a happy and long life with their children and grandchildren, as well as remindand educate their children and grandchildren to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. Touched by the attention from all levels, the elderly sent their sincere thanks to the provincial leaders, the provincial Department of Health and the provincial Association of the Elderly. This is a great source of encouragement for the elderly to continue to live happily, healthily, usefully, and contribute spiritually to the community and family.
