Thai Thuy focuses on implementing site clearance for the Ninh Binh- Hai Phong expressway project

On the morning of November 22, the People's Committee of Thai Thuy district held a conference to listen to the results of implementing policies and guidelines for the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway project (CT08) through Thai Thuy district.

The CT08 road project through 7 communes of Thai Thuy district is 16.2km long with a total area of land requiring site clearance of 112.49ha. The District Land Fund and Industrial Cluster Development Center held a meeting to discuss the purpose, significance and importance of the project; by November 21, more than 78% of households whose land was recovered had signed a consent form to hand over the site 30 days ahead of schedule.

By November 21, 60/69 households in Thuy Binh commune had signed a consent form to hand over the site 30 days ahead of schedule.

To implement the project's land acquisition and clearance, the district has planned resettlement areas and people's cemeteries in Thuy Lien, Thuy Binh, Son Ha, and Thuy Son communes. In the coming time, the district requires the People's Committees of the communes to direct specialized departments to guide households in preparing documents and papers related to the recovered land; closely coordinate with the District Land Fund Development Center and Industrial Cluster in implementing the next steps of the project; organize meetings with households that must move graves; review areas and technical infrastructure works affected by the project to propose timely compensation and reimbursement.
