This year, An Giang will organize the exam at 48 official exam sites and 1 backup exam site, an increase of 2 official exam sites compared to 2024, with a total of 938 exam rooms, 50 backup exam rooms and 17 waiting rooms for independent candidates who have graduated. The total number of candidates registered for the exam is 21,233, of which: Candidates taking the exam according to the 2018 GeneralEducation Program are 20,748; candidates taking the exam according to the 2006 General Education Program are 485.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Quoc Khanh (Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Provincial High School Graduation Exam, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Examination Council), the exam scores are distributed reasonably to create the most favorable conditions for candidates, especially students in border areas, remote areas and ethnic minority areas. The 2025 exam is particularly important, because this is the first exam for students studying under the 2018 General Education Program, but at the same time still ensures the rights of candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program. In the context that the whole country is implementing a streamlined apparatus, converting the local government model from 3 levels to 2 levels, including the police and inspection forces, the exam is organized more carefully and strictly.

The force participating in organizing the exam in An Giang province is 3,543 people, including supervisors, supervisors, police officers , medical staff and exam inspectors. In addition, according to the assignment of the Ministry of Education and Training, lecturers from Can Tho University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics will participate in the exam inspection task at the An Giang Provincial Examination Council.

Up to now, preparations for the exam are being carried out synchronously, actively and readily. Facilities, equipment and human resources for the exam have been carefully prepared. Important stages such as printing exam papers, transporting and preserving exam papers, organizing exam marking, etc. are all in a state of high readiness. Coordination with sectors, organizations and local authorities has been strengthened. In particular, the work of ensuring security, traffic safety and order, disease prevention, food safety and hygiene; electricity, water, sound, light and noise reduction around the exam area all have thorough plans.

The local government has also had policies to support poor students and students living far away in terms of transportation and accommodation during the exam days, while ensuring living conditions for exam staff. Communication and propaganda activities about the exam have been widely deployed, contributing to stabilizing social psychology and raising awareness of compliance with exam regulations among students and parents. Up to now, high schools in the area have completed the review for students (content closely following the Ministry's sample exam orientation, in accordance with the output standards of each program...) and encouraged candidates to have a comfortable mindset before entering the exam...

As a source and border area, An Phu has been proactive in organizing the exam to ensure that it takes place safely and thoughtfully. The exam sites have ensured all the following conditions: Arrangement of exam rooms, waiting rooms, entrance gates, tables and chairs, sanitary facilities; development of plans to preserve exam papers and exam papers; electricity, water, security and order, communication systems, food safety; plans to support candidates far from the exam sites and in emergency cases...

Although in the period of merging and operating the commune/ward level government according to the new model, schools in the province still proactively coordinate with local authorities to review and re-examine facilities and equipment for the exam; pay attention to supporting candidates with difficult circumstances, candidates living far from the exam location, creating conditions for them to do their exams with peace of mind and achieve good results.

Along with that, pay attention to implementing good measures to prevent dengue fever, COVID-19, food safety and hygiene; have plans to handle situations and incidents that may occur during the exam; focus on ensuring security, order, traffic safety, ensuring that the 2025 High School Graduation Exam takes place safely, seriously, in accordance with regulations and achieves the highest efficiency.

*The 2025 high school graduation exam will be held on June 26 and 27. Candidates taking the 2018 General Education Program will take part in 3 exam sessions including Literature, Math and 1 optional exam (including 2 subjects from the subjects they have studied, except Literature and Math). Candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program will take 4 exams: Literature, Math, a combination exam (Natural Sciences or Social Sciences) and Foreign Language.
