Outstanding women studying and following Uncle Ho

Over the past years, the Women's Union at all levels in the province has demonstrated its role and responsibility in all activities and emulation movements, affirming its role in taking care of the lives of female members better and better.

Learning from Uncle Ho about the spirit of "Mutual love and support", Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh, a member of the Women's Union of Vinh Quoi Hamlet, Vinh An Commune (Chau Thanh District) is a typical example in social security work and is responsible for her work. She has always been attached to and enthusiastically participated in the association's work and local movements since 2007, actively contributing with the Women's Union of the commune in implementing the movements. During the period of social distancing to prevent and fight the COVID-19 epidemic, she has promoted the spirit of "Mutual love and support", with the financial contribution of her family and the support of benefactors, she has supported 1,800 vegetarian breakfasts (bread, porridge, vermicelli...), 400 banh tet for the district's concentrated quarantine area at Dinh Son Trung and the forces participating in the epidemic prevention and control, with a total cost of over 50 million VND.

In addition, Ms. Binh also actively participates in social security activities such as directly cooking for the bridge construction team; mobilizing women to participate in the model "Mutual support for funeral expenses" (supporting 34 cases, amounting to over 258 million VND) and the model "Collecting from the heart, sharing love", amounting to over 55 million VND. With her enthusiasm, dedication and responsibility, Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh has received certificates of merit from the People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, District and Commune Women's Union for many consecutive years. In 2024 alone, she was recommended for consideration for the "For the Development of Vietnamese Women" Medal...

With more than 20 years of working as a branch president, Ms. Chau Thi Hong Chanh, Head of the Women's Association of Trung Phu 5 Hamlet, Vinh Phu Commune (Thoai Son District) has constantly researched, sought solutions, and mobilized resources to organize many practical activities to care for the lives of members and women and do a good job of the association. Always grasping and understanding the circumstances and lives of members, thinking of ways to help members in difficult circumstances with practical actions, she is one of the typical hamlet branch presidents, enthusiastic, responsible for work, modest, simple, and loved by everyone. According to Ms. Chanh, studying and following Uncle Ho means always caring, helping, and promptly supporting members and women in difficult and disadvantaged situations. In 2025 alone, she participated in supporting the hamlet committee to mobilize the Spring Tree Fund with 400kg of rice worth 6 million VND; mobilized to build bridges, roads, and houses with an amount of 25 million VND; mobilized philanthropists to support 10 gifts for disadvantaged women to celebrate Tet, worth 3 million VND; supported flood victims with 1.5 million VND...

Ms. Chanh also carried out the movements and tasks of the association well, actively encouraged female members to enthusiastically participate and respond; in group activities, she integrated stories about Uncle Ho for female members and women to learn and follow in their daily lives...

As for Ms. Ha Thi Tho, Head of the Women's Group of Phu Tay Hamlet, Phu Long Commune (Phu Tan District), she is over 65 years old this year, has participated in the association's work for nearly 15 years, and is an enthusiastic and responsible leader of the women's group. She always wonders how to help members deeply understand the meaning of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; that is the guideline for members and women to apply and follow in their daily lives with specific and practical actions...

In the movements implemented by the Commune Women's Union, Ms. Tho is always the pioneer and actively promotes and mobilizes members to participate in a number of typical activities, such as: Mobilizing the implementation of the "Piglet Savings" model, "Saving money for daily market" at least 5,000 VND/day; participating in environmental protection work, mobilizing each member's family to participate in keeping the house clean, raising awareness of environmental protection among women and people in the residential area... With practical actions, in 2023, she was commended by the Commune Women's Union for her achievements in studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh with the movement "5 no, 3 clean"...
