Concentrating forces to search for the child swept away by flood in Dien Xa commune

Authorities are still searching for missing victims swept away by floods in Dien Xa commune.

Previously, at 12:08 on July 23, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Provincial Police) received a report of a case of a person being swept away by floodwaters at the spillway area in Tien Hai village, Dien Xa commune.

The victim was identified as TTT (born 2013), residing locally.

Rescue forces deployed to search for the missing child.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Tien Yen Fire Fighting and Rescue Team quickly mobilized forces with full equipment and rescue vehicles to carry out the mission.

The government and functional forces encouraged the victim's family.

Through understanding the situation, currently, 50 people from local forces including leaders of the commune government, military forces, commune police, militia, grassroots security forces of Dien Xa commune and the Defense Command of Area 2 have urgently deployed coordinated search work.

At the scene, the rescue team organized into 4 search teams using buoys and rafts to move along both river banks and deployed nets in the downstream area where the incident occurred. The search was carried out urgently and seriously with the highest sense of responsibility, making every effort to find the victim as soon as possible.
