On the afternoon of October 29, in Hanoi, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Head of the Movement Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, received VND 200 million in support from Gamuda Land to help people in the Northern provinces overcome the consequences of storm No. 3; The collective leadership, officials and employees of the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment - Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment donated VND 16.5 million.
Presenting the donation to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Mr. James Lai Siaw Pin, General Director of Gamuda Land Vietnam, said that with the desire to contribute to bringing benefits to the community, Gamuda Land always cares about charity activities and sharing love.
"Given the severe damage caused by storm No. 3 to the northern provinces, Gamuda Land wishes to make a small contribution to help people overcome difficulties. In addition to this support, Gamuda Land is willing to participate in other social activities to care for the poor and disadvantaged in society," said Mr. James Lai Siaw Pin.

Receiving the affection of agencies, units and enterprises, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Head of the Movement Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, sent his sincere thanks to the philanthropists who devoted their hearts to joining hands with the Party and State to support people affected by storm No. 3 to have more resources to rebuild their lives when the flood passes and soon stabilize their lives.
Mr. Cao Xuan Thao said that storm No. 3 with its great destructive power has caused heavy damage to people and property, estimated at over 81,000 billion VND. In the face of such damage, in addition to support from the state budget, overcoming the consequences caused by storm No. 3 requires mobilizing more resources in society, through the Vietnam Fatherland Front calling for mobilization. From mobilized resources, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee conducts strict management, publicizes donations, allocates support to localities according to the level of damage; fully compiles statistics, posts support lists in communes and wards for people to follow.
Receiving donations from agencies, units and businesses, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao pledged that the donations will be distributed to the right places, right people, used effectively, for the right purposes, quickly helping people return to normal life as before the storm and flood; at the same time, he hoped that agencies, units and businesses will develop more and more, along with growth and development, they will continue to make more contributions to society, and continue to accompany the Vietnam Fatherland Front in upcoming activities.
On the same day, Mr. Vu Chi Hoa, Deputy Head of the Movement Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, received support from Hanwha Aero Engines Co., Ltd. & the Company's Trade Union in the amount of 120 million VND.
