Professional training for the General Census of Rural and Agricultural Areas

On June 9, at the Provincial Statistics Office, the Steering Committee for the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census of Hoa Binh Province held a training conference on professional skills for the Rural and Agricultural Census. Attending were 58 members of the Standing Team assisting the Provincial Steering Committee according to Decision No. 74/QD-UBND, dated May 19, 2025 of the Head of the Provincial Steering Committee; provincial supervisors; leaders of the statistical team and district lecturers.

The 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census is a large-scale statistical survey of great significance to collect data to comprehensively assess the current situation of rural areas, agriculture and people's lives in the province. The survey information is an important basis for developing and adjusting agricultural and rural development policies, improving the effectiveness of state management and planning local socio -economic development strategies.

At the training conference, delegates were informed of important contents of the 2025 investigation plan issued by the Central Steering Committee. This included new points on investigation methods, application of information technology in data collection, monitoring and information verification processes. Trainees were also given detailed instructions on how to use electronic software on mobile devices to serve field investigations.

As planned, the training conference will take place over 3 days (June 9-11, 2025). Through the conference, the aim is to equip knowledge and professional skills for the investigation force at the provincial and district levels, ensuring the effective implementation of the upcoming General Census of Rural and Agricultural Areas .
