Nam Nung Magazine affirms its role as a local literary magazine

At the seminar, delegates reviewed the glorious 100-year tradition of Vietnam's revolutionary press and the 21-year journey of formation and development of Nam Nung Magazine.

From the early days of many difficulties and shortages, Nam Nung Magazine gradually affirmed its role as a specialized literary magazine, contributing to spreading the cultural, artistic and social life values of the province.

After 21 years of operation, Nam Nung Magazine has published 219 issues, with 1,500 copies/issue. The magazine has expanded its distribution to agencies, schools, hamlets, and villages in the province and the Central Literature and Arts Associations, and other provinces and cities.

At the program, the Organizing Committee summarized and awarded the writing contest "Exemplary families in building, preserving and promoting national cultural identity".

Launched in January 2025, the contest received nearly 150 entries, vividly depicting touching stories about Vietnamese families in their journey to preserve the national cultural identity. Many entries strongly spread traditional values, from the warm kitchen to community activities imbued with humanity.
