This afternoon, May 31, during a working trip to Hanoi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Peace Festival Hoang Nam worked with the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine on some contents of coordination in implementing the Peace Festival. At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam provided an overview of the organization plan, series of activities, and the purpose and significance of the 2024 Peace Festival, which will take place in Quang Tri province next July.
In addition to the main activities, the Festival for Peace has additional meaningful programs such as: International Conference “Lessons from wars and the value of peace from Vietnam’s perspective”; Political art program “17th Parallel - Aspiration for peace” organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper on the evening of July 19; Marathon “Journey to the land of fire”; International trade fair “Trans-Asia bridge” ...
The 2024 Peace Festival will be an open festival, with only an opening ceremony and a series of activities, but no closing ceremony. The province's goal is that whenever visitors set foot in Quang Tri, they will feel special emotions on the "Sacred Land of Peace Blossoms". The province hopes that this will be a new tourism product, unique to Quang Tri, initiated by the province and everyone joins hands to create value.

Providing more information about the preparations for the festival, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam hopes that Communist Magazine will join hands, accompany, support and advise the province on ideas suitable for the script framework in the festival's series of activities to create highlights and clarify the core value of peace.
Regarding propaganda work, we suggest that Communist Magazine participate in writing articles, developing publications and special issues to deepen the themes, values and messages that the provincial festival wants to convey.

Speaking at the meeting, Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine Le Hai Binh affirmed that the Festival for Peace organized by Quang Tri province at this time is very appropriate and necessary, with international stature. Because, in the current context of many changes in the world, peace is the desire of all mankind.
Based on the request of Quang Tri province, Communist Magazine will participate in theoretical research, publish news and articles about the festival in the magazine and publish additional publications for the province's event dossier.
Communist Magazine is ready to accompany and coordinate with Quang Tri province to organize an international conference to spread the meaning and widely convey the message of peace.
