To prepare for system deployment, the Customs Department will temporarily stop accepting customs declarations from 10:00 p.m. on June 30 to 5:00 a.m. on July 1, 2025.

According to the announcement of the Customs Department ( Ministry of Finance ) sent to the State Treasury, Tax Department, Department of Information Technology and Digital Transformation (Ministry of Finance), commercial banks, Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, from June 30, the Customs agency will deploy an information technology system to meet the requirements of the new organizational structure.

To prepare for system deployment, the Customs Department will temporarily stop accepting customs declarations from 10:00 p.m. on June 30 to 5:00 a.m. on July 1.

The Customs Department announces the temporary suspension of customs declarations so that units know and are proactive in implementing their work.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the total value of import and export of goods reached 390.91 billion USD, an increase of 15.3% (equivalent to an increase of 51.84 billion USD) over the same period last year.

Of which, export value reached 197.88 billion USD, up 13.7% (equivalent to an increase of 23.88 billion USD); import value reached 193.03 billion USD, up 16.9% (equivalent to an increase of 27.96 billion USD).

Vietnam's accumulated trade balance of goods up to the above time had a surplus of 4.84 billion USD, down 45.8% compared to the surplus of the same period last year.
