Temporarily stop trains to Hanoi center during the holiday

In order to coordinate to ensure order and safety of railway traffic during the National Day celebrations, Vietnam Railways Corporation will temporarily suspend train operations to the center of Hanoi during the following time frames: From 8:10 p.m. to 11 p.m. on August 27; from 3 a.m. to 12 p.m. on August 30 and September 2.

Vietnam Railways Corporation will temporarily suspend train operations to the center of Hanoi (Hanoi Station - Giap Bat section, Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City railway line) during the following time frames: From 20:10 to 23:00 on August 27; from 3:00 to 12:00 on August 30 and September 2.

At other times until 12:00 on September 2, trains passing through the section Km 0+595 – Km 1+800 will reduce speed to below 10km/h to ensure safety.

In addition, from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on the days of the Anniversary activities, the Railway Corporation will arrange forces to coordinate with the police on the section from lane 222 Le Duan to the intersection of Giai Phong - Dai Co Viet. These teams will propagate and guide, not allowing people to walk, stand, or sit on the railway when the parades and marches pass by.

Trains to Hanoi center will be temporarily suspended on September 2nd holiday.

The Traffic Police Department will regularly coordinate closely with Hanoi Traffic Police and Vietnam Railways Corporation to deploy traffic flow, regulate, and maintain order and safety on railways.

In order to meet the increased travel demand on the Hanoi- Hai Phong route during the peak season on September 2, in addition to the regular, fixed train pairs running every day (4 train pairs/day), the Railway industry will organize 7 additional trains.

Accordingly, in addition to the 4 pairs of Hoa Phuong Do trains running daily between Hanoi and Hai Phong, on August 30, there will be an additional train LP9 (Hanoi - Hai Phong), departing from Hanoi station at 7:15 a.m.

On August 31, train LP9 will depart from Long Bien at 7:26 a.m. and train LP10 (Hai Phong - Hanoi) will depart from Hai Phong station at 4:20 p.m.

On September 1, train LP9 (Long Bien - Hai Phong) departs from Long Bien at 7:26 a.m. and train LP10 (Hai Phong - Gia Lam) departs from Hai Phong at 4:20 p.m.

On September 2, train LP9 (Gia Lam - Hai Phong) departs from Gia Lam station at 7:43 a.m. and train LP10 (Hai Phong - Hanoi) departs from Hai Phong station at 4:20 p.m.
