According to Mr. Huy, at around 11 o'clock that same day, the car was going down Vi O Lac pass when, suspecting that the brakes had failed, the driver immediately swerved to avoid another car driving in front... When he saw that the car was in danger of falling into the abyss, a person sitting in the car quickly grabbed the steering wheel to pull the car onto the embankment on the side of the cliff, and the car flipped over.

"If it weren't for this person's quick thinking, the whole car would have plunged into the abyss. When the car overturned, everyone on board panicked. Many people around came to help, many had to break the doors to get out," said Mr. Huy.

Footballer Nguyen Phi Hung (also currently in the hospital) said that at the time of the accident, he was sitting and talking to the person sitting next to him.
