Since the historic milestone of June 21, 1925, when the Thanh Nien newspaper founded by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc published its first issue, exactly one century has passed, and the Vietnamese revolutionary press has continuously grown. Vietnamese journalists have affirmed their role, from "secretaries of the times" to "gatekeepers of the people", as General Secretary To Lam said.

Combining modern visual language (Hologram technology) and classical music (symphony orchestra), special songs and the participation of famous artists, the program clearly depicts the role, contribution and mission of journalists throughout the history of the nation.
Throughout the program, there will be 4 Hologram performances corresponding to 4 major stages in the 100-year journey of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism: Birth - Maturity - Development - New Era.
Starting with Le Paria (The Miserable) - the mouthpiece of the French Colonial Union founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc and a number of progressive activists in 1922. Under the pseudonym Nguyen Ai Quoc, he wrote many articles in French, raising his voice to fight for the right to live of colonial peoples, laying the first bricks for the ideology of revolutionary journalism. Four years later, he founded Thanh Nien, the mouthpiece of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association with the first issue published on June 21, 1925. Although he never considered himself a journalist, with more than 2,000 articles, more than 170 pen names and 9 newspapers founded by himself, President Ho Chi Minh was the one who laid the foundation for Vietnam's revolutionary journalism.
Next was the period when revolutionary journalism matured in the midst of war, when hundreds of journalists both held pens and guns to fight for national independence. In the 100-year history of Vietnam’s revolutionary journalism, more than 500 journalists have fallen while on duty.
The period of Renovation and Integration marked the strong development of revolutionary journalism, from "secretary of the times" to "companion of the people" and the country in the cause of national construction and development.
And in the New Era - the digital era, AI, social networks and multi-dimensional information - many questions are raised: How will journalists continue to shoulder the great responsibility in the era of national development? How to make the glory of journalism not only the past but also the future that must continue to be preserved and built.
The program includes meetings with veteran journalists such as journalist Pham Viet Long - former Chief of Office of the Ministry of Culture and Information, journalist Tran Mai Huong - former General Director of Vietnam News Agency...
In the program, the audience will also look back at the many milestones of the capital's press through the report "Hanoi press in the country's press career".
Contributing to the portrayal of “Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism - 100 years of glory and responsibility”, it is impossible not to mention artists who are loved by many audiences such as: Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, singer Duc Tuan, Vo Ha Tram, Dong Hung, Huong Tram, Oplus Group... In the program, the artists will perform a series of songs associated with historical milestones of the country as well as Vietnamese revolutionary journalism including: "On the road", "Marching song", "Du kich song Thao", "Steps on the Truong Son range", "The country is full of joy"...
