"Moving Forward with Vietnam" is an unprecedented community activity, taking place at a time when the whole country is entering a new development phase with the rearrangement of administrative units. For the first time, a walking activity was held simultaneously in 34 provinces and cities with 3,321 communes, wards and administrative zones nationwide.
In Quang Ninh province, the provincial-level activity held at 30/10 Square (Ha Long ward) is expected to have 5,000 - 6,000 people including officials, civil servants, employees, workers at departments, branches, organizations, armed forces, students, and businesses in the area participating in a walk of about 2.5km, starting from 30/10 Square along Tran Quoc Nghien street to Royal Hotel on Hon Gai beach.
In communes, wards and special zones, based on conditions, choose a walking route with a distance of 2-3km, each unit sends 300 - 500 people to participate.
People from all walks of life attended, wearing red flags with yellow stars and participating in the flag-raising ceremony and singing the national anthem, showing solemnity, love for the country and national pride.
The event "Moving Forward with Vietnam" is a practical activity in building a healthy living environment, improving physical and mental health, promoting legal propaganda, preventing crime, and building the movement "All people protect national security".
Through the event, we aim to introduce the beauty of Vietnam's land and people through the project "Love Vietnam", a place to connect emotions, spread the image of the homeland to international friends; encourage people to experience and promote smart tourism through the NFC check-in system at more than 200 locations across the country, contributing to building a modern, friendly and unique national tourism brand.
