This is the first flight in the process of training, joint practice, preliminary rehearsal, general rehearsal and flight to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The 371st Air Division successfully organized a flight crew for the helicopter force.

Attending and directing the flight were Major General Nguyen Phung Tuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Defense - Air Force and Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuan, Deputy Chief of Politics of the Air Defense - Air Force.

After receiving the aircraft of Regiment 917 (Division 370), Regiment 930 (Division 372) to carry out training, joint training, preliminary rehearsal, general rehearsal and flying to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Regiment 916 quickly stabilized its organization, staffing, accommodation and living quarters for the troops. The components and forces quickly accessed the facilities, equipment and weapons to prepare for training.

Realizing the significance of the first flight, the Party Committee and the Regiment Commander closely led and directed the stages and steps to strengtheneducation , thoroughly raise awareness, and build determination for officers and soldiers about the importance of flight training and ensuring flight safety; assigned tasks to the components, developed scientific, specific, and meticulous flight plans, and implemented them seriously and closely.

During the flight, the commander operated scientifically and strictly; the pilots strictly followed the regulations and rules, performed the main movements accurately, in accordance with the commander's orders and flight requirements. Although the climate, terrain and topography conditions changed, thanks to skillful training, coordination and close flight command, after nearly 4 hours of performing the mission, 6 aircraft of Regiment 916, Regiment 917, Regiment 930 practiced flying 9 times, achieving 100% of the plan, ensuring absolute safety.

Speaking at the conference to discuss and comment after the flight, Major General Nguyen Phung Tuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Defense - Air Force, requested the unit to continue to stabilize the situation in all aspects, do a good job of ideological work, ensure good material and spiritual life for the troops; organize training, joint practice, preliminary rehearsal, general rehearsal and fly to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2 to ensure absolute safety.
